I was at a barn sale with my great uncle up in New England and saw an used copy of the original EU board. Couldn't afford it, and now I'm kicking myself for not taking a picture of the box. But it was still neat to come across the original. Sometimes it's easy to forget EUI was adapting a cardboard game, and certain elements like d6 roles for leader stats and battles still hang on in EUIV. Guy clearly liked massive grand strategy epics, it was right next to The Campaign in North Africa on the counter. Saw Twilight Imperium for sale too.
