I am creating several new Great mages in editor, but their names don't change. I converted m<numbers>_locdata.xr to xml to check and they all have correct (new) names there. But in-game (both in editor and in sandbox) they still have names of the mages they are based on. Their new descriptions (in the same file) work correctly. Any ideas?

It is a known issue due to a misaimed localization string that isn't updated, and it's being worked on.

For now, here is the workaround: If you go into the <numbers>_data.xml file (it'll be a <numbers>_data.xr file that you can extract with the tools) - the Mage's UserData->characterName->s_key is wrong - it's pointing to the template mage's localization string rather than the one you created. Update that s_key (the newly created one can be find in the _locdata.xml) and it should work perfectly - the name you gave it in the editor is still saved, just now shown properly.
