I've Googled the arse off this trying to find a solution. When I try and load a recent save, the loading bar gets about a third of the way then crashes to desktop.
I seem to be able to load earlier saves, like 10 years earlier ones. My most recent is on the year 2085 - that's the bad boy that crashes.
I've got a loads of mods, to be fair. Tried troubleshooting by turning them off, uninstalling, deleting the Stellaris folder - all that jazz.
Oh I'm playing on an iMac btw (I know, I know).
Here's the crash log that may as well be written in the language of crabs to me.
Any help appreciated.
