CK3 won't update on Paradox Launcher

I have CK3 installed (1.1.3) with the Paradox Launcher (not Steam or the V2 launcher). I have been trying to update it to 1.2.2, but any time I try to update the game, it stops and says "an error occurred" during the "downloading patch" part. I've tried downloading a different patch version and got the same error, then tried uninstalling and reinstalling the launcher, which also gave the same issue. All advice I can find from searching on this seems to refer to the Steam version.

Unfortunately the standalone Paradox client (aka launcher v1) does not have a resume or verify option, all you can really do is keep trying, or uninstall the game entirely then install it from scratch which will install the latest game version.

Ah. Well, not ideal, but thank you for the response. I'll give it a try if it continues to fail to update.
