CK3 Freezes my computer after less than 2 minutes of play MacOS

Hi!
I just bought and downloaded CK3 a little while ago, and it starts up fine, I can select my game and kingdom.
Once I start the game it seems fine for a minute or two and then it freezes the whole computer and I have to do a hard reboot.
This is sad as I was excited to play the game. I'm on a MacOS machine.
Any advice would be welcome.

Not a known problem on Macs, I have to say!

Please attach your Documents/Paradox/CK3/pdx_settings.txt .
From your Documents/Paradox/CK3/logs/ folder, attach system.log , error.log

Also in Steam please click on Steam-Help-System Info, and paste everything there into a text file and attach that here.


Please report the temperatures of your CPU and video (GPU)
1/ before starting the game up and
2/ in the main game menu
3/ after whatever play time you can get before the problem happens.
