Not Sure Since i Cannot Open The Game

What expansions do you have installed?
Natural Disasters

What mods are you using?
None

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I had played this game a few years back and wanted to play again. Steam wouldn't launch it so I purchased it on epic games since I had run out of patience and it is having the same error there. The error log I have provided is from me launching it on epic games.

Can you replicate the issue? If yes, please explain how you did it.

This is a Windows problem: I've seen it a few times but I don't know what causes it.

Please go to C:/windows/system32/ folder and copy (NOT move!) msiexec.exe to the Epic folder where cities.exe is.

Then run the game from the Epic PLAY button. That should do it for you!


PS: if a game won't launcher from one vendor it is overwhelmingly likely to not launch from another vendor too.
