Hi there, after last update I can't update my mod every time it gives an error:
modfail.png

What does this error mean? I was subscribed to my mod, now I unsubscribed from it and don’t understand where else can this id exist?

I guess the issue is as that message says - there is a local mod on this machine with the same remote ID as the one you are trying to upload.

In that circumstance let's try this:

  • move any valued local mod files elsewhere for the time being
  • delete the folder Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/mod/
  • delete the file Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/mods_registry.json (if present)
  • delete the file Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/launcher-v2.sqlite (if present)
  • run the game up and check the launcher is okay with no mod or other errors
  • now see if you can upload that mod

I hope that does it for you!
