Cant install mods why?

That looks like a file system access issue. Are you seeing any other errors in the launcher, whether related to mods or not?

Has this always happened for you or it used to work?

What launcher version do you see? Current is 2022.1

And what antivirus app do you have?

I use Avast Security premium
the Launcher seems 2022.1
The other mods I installed before I started having this issue are translation mod and a graphic mod
So I guess it used to work .
When I launch the launcher it syncs and then it does this message with the red triangle next to the mod , no other errors.

That is usually an antivirus app getting in the way. You need to make sure all these apps are in its exceptions lists:

ck3.exe (in the Steam CK3-binaries folder)
dowser.exe (in the Steam CK3-launcher folder)
C:/users/<UserName>/AppData/Local/Programs/Paradox Interactive/launcher-v2.2022.1/paradox launcher.exe
C:/users/<UserName>/AppData/Local/Programs/Paradox Interactive/bootstrapper-v2.exe

Ok I tried that but I still get the same error on the launcher, if I delete the sugested file the laungher starts fine , but when I close and restart it again presents the same problem with that file.

Then Of that upper mod I downloaded the latest version and now I do not have anymore the red triangle but now the translation mod that was working fine and didn't change version has the red triangle and dunno what to do as I can't activate anymore now .

But I can't launch any of the playsets now !

Please try the following:

- unsubscribe from all mods in BOTH the Steam Workshop and the Paradox mod site mods.paradoxplaza.com
- delete the folder Documents/Paradox Interactive/CK3/mod/
- delete the file Documents/Paradox Interactive/CK3/mods_registry.json (if present)
- delete the file Documents/Paradox Interactive/CK3/launcher-v2.sqlite (if present)
- run the game up and check the launcher is okay with no mod or other errors
- subscribe to a few mods

- run the game up and see if those mods are now available to you.
