The mod 'Male Only Succession Startup' is listed under All Installed Mods. I want to get rid of it.

The problem is that the mod no longer exists on Steam Workshop so I can't unsubscribe from it. I manually deleted the local mod files and my entire ck3 directory under Documents to reset all configs. I also verified game files but the mod still persists in the launcher. The same is true for one other "ghost" mod. Presumably any mod that is removed by the author from Steam Workshop in the future will likewise forever clutter up my mod list in the PDX launcher.

It's not actually deleted, the creator has changed the visibility to hidden, that's why it keeps getting installed. You'll need to manually delete it in your subscribed mods and whilst I think you're pretty well versed in how to do that I've included a link: https://www.wikihow.com/Delete-Steam-Workshop-Mods
