Can't get game/launcher installed

I tried to install the game for the first time. Initially when it first launched, it seemed to not find the installer, so it prompted for a few path locations, but I then canceled and told it to just do whatever, but since then, it seems that the launcher just fails over and over to ever actually install properly, and when it runs, I get the generic msi message: "Another version of this product is already installed. Installation of this version cannot continue. To configure or remove the existing version of this product, use Add?Remove Programs on the control Panel.'

So I tried to uninstall it via steam, and control panel, reboot, then redownload and re-install, and that didn't seem to work.

I poked around in appdata, and found the log for the installer, with no additional places I could think to look.

I have the same problem. Manually uninstalling Paradox Launched from Add/Remove Program and installing it again does nothing:

Edit: Installed Paradox Launcher - 1.0-beta-54. We shall see if that helps. Have to download the game again, though.

Edit 2: So, I can't run the game through Steam, but I can run it by using the .exe in the binaries folder. I don't get it, but at least I can play the game now.

Edit 3: The newest patch fixed the issue. I didn't have to do anything.
