Whenever a i try to create a multiplayer game and give my friend the server code he gets an error that says the game does not exist, it also does not show up in the multiplayer games when he scans for a game. The same thing happens in reverse.

Have you two ever been able to play this game MP yet Or never?

How about any of our similar games like CK2, EU4, Stellaris, HOI4?

Do you both see the same version and checksum in the MP lobby?

Any mods involved?

A friend of mine have a similar problem. He cant see any MP games after going to the MP Lobby. And of course he can not join my hosted game in any way. To answer the aboves questions.

1. We have been abtel to, shortly after release.

2. All other mentioned games work fine in MP

3. Same version in checksum

4. No mods

Apparently if when you first run I:R you don’t have internet access, a flag is set somewhere and the game puts up a message saying MP play is not allowed, even when internet access is restored. Here’s what fixed this for two users:

- Uninstalled I:R and every folder on AppData and on Users/Documents/ relating to it.
- Did the same with every file related to Steam.
- Unbound PDX & Steam accounts.
- Deleted every entry on Windows registry related to Imperator.
- Erased the Temp folder on AppData.
- Restarted the pc.
- Linked Steam & PDX accounts.
- Downloaded Steam & I:R.
