Well, I just read about this guy in wikipedia.
According to wikipedia, he led some Bulgars into Italy and they finally settled there, and some graves support it.
But after all wikipedia is not so accurate and I hope to know if it 's true.

If it is real, I hope a Bulgar character from the Dulo clan who rules a county of Bulgar culture could be added in Charlemagne bookmark. Maybe he could take the place of a fictional Lombard count. In my opinion, it would be really cool to have someone who claims to be a descendent of Attila the Hun to rise in Naples, and conquest Rome to fulfil his ancestor's ambition.

Though Bulgars in Benevento are surely a minority compared with others, we now have a fictional Crimea Goth count in Cherson, some followers of the Hellenic religion in Mani Peninsula who are of course a minority in the county, as well as some Zunbils from Afghanistan, whose religion is still a mystery for us nowadays, in the game. At the same time, Bulgar is a culture already exist in game and do not need to spend so much time as Crimean Goths.

So maybe it 's acceptable to add them in southern Italy?
