Building on Olympus Mons, and question about tunnels.

I didn't find this any more difficult than building in the very easy sites that I picked before. Except there's a caldera in the middle, which functions like a crater.

I was amused to see that wind turbines did not give any altitude benefit if built inside the caldera.

More importantly, I need to build tunnels to get out of the caldera, but there doesn't seem to be a way I can build an exit or drone hub near the top. Do I have to get a new supply ship from Earth, equipped with all that's necessary to build a drone hub, and land that at the top before attempting to build a tunnel?

Tunnels have a max distance that they can be built. Don’t worry about the message about the exit being too far from a drone hub as you build the tunnel from the end closest to the hub and it gets built as one big structure.

As long as the other end is on level ground and not too far you should be able to build it out of the caldera.

To build a drone hub you need either an RC Rover with some drones plus the supply to build the drone hub (using an rc transport works) or yea call in a rocket there
