Borders/Empire colors not visible

Just a little update from me: I upgraded from my Radeon 6870 to an R9 270x and can confirm that everything works fine with the "new" card (at least with the newest free/libre drivers). With the 6870 I couldn't see the empires/borders despite using the newest free/libre drivers. Not sure why, but I'd assume it has to do with the r600g driver.

Which version of Mesa did you try with the 6870?

edit: It was definitely >=13... in case it's relevant I can switch cards and get back to you.

It would be worth opening a new bug report for r600 at https://bugs.freedesktop.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=Mesa&component=Drivers/Gallium/r600 then, as the other opened bugs reports are: this issue, but on i965, and HoIIV, EUIV, Stellaris displaying nothing on RadeonSI under Wayland.
