I really hate when Im playing as the allies and the other allied nations, such as Britain and U.S find it necessary to send dozens and dozens of units to the Belgian congo instead of using them where they are actually needed.

I guess it's the old question of allience AI and HOIs' implementation of alliances. I know John H wrote something good on this but I can't find it...
