Latest incident, just happened. Bluescreen lockup, picture attached. This time the % hung up at 60, had to hard shut down and reboot.

Bluescreens are virtually always driver or hardware problems. That particular one CLOCK WATCHDOG TIMEOUT seems to be most commonly due to memory or CPU hardware faults, but if you have any overclocking active try undoing that.

There are newer AMD video drivers available so you could try those too:
Probably the May 2020 one is the most stable IME.

Thanks Andrew, I'll try installing that new driver. No overclocking on my PC. I'm not super tech savvy, I saw some other threads in other forums with similar symptoms, one of them mentioned a Gigabyte 360BH motherboard which I currently have. Hopefully I don't need to replace my motherboard to keep enjoying Battletech.

Is there a difference between the bluescreen crashes and the boot to windows crashes?

Ummm ... pass? :D

Looks, if it turns out to be a motherboard, CPU or memory hardware fault almost anything can happen in terms of symptoms.
