One line summary of your issue
consistent (3x) hard crash at different points in campaign Liberation:Tyrlon mission

What platform are you running the game on?
Steam

What operating system do you use?
OSX 12.1

Which version of the game are you running?
1.9.1-686R

What DLC do you have installed?
None

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I have crashed 3x in a row while playing the Liberation:Tyrlon mission. It's always near the end, though at inconsistent places.
first time: all mechs were dead and 2 of 3 batteries blown.
second time: all objectives complete, and started getting the end of mission text
third time: all but 1 mech dead, 1 of 3 batteries blown.

this is a vanilla installation (no DLCs or mods), first installed in late Dec of 2021. Hasn't been patched.

I will re-play and grab the apple stack dumps, but if this is a known issue I'd love to get a pointer to a work around.f

Have you tried verifying your files?
No

Steps to reproduce the issue
unclear. happens during this mission, but at apparently random points.

Just after the next such crash Please attach this log file here:
~/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log

To find that file, in Finder do cmd-shift-G to bring up the GOTO box. In there paste ~/Library/ . You will see a /Logs/ folder, and inside that /Unity/ folder. Please attach that file player.log here by dropping it on this support ticket, or use the "Attach file" link here.

Also in Steam please click on Steam-Help-System Info, and paste everything there into a text file and attach that here.

OSX 12.1 Running on a new Mac - could be the problem
I thought of that but I see nothing yet saying it is on an M1 Mac?
