Bastards losing their already unique dyns?

How do I stop this from happening, it's maddening, you can't give Hugh Hammer or Tyst Truefire title's as they get some random dynasty, without the pretty CoA, so you wait and give their heirs title, algood, until they go off on a dragon ambition conquest or inherit and get hit by a random dynasty, now screwing up their kids family trees as the game can't cope with siblings sharing houses without a parent who does.
Why is it happening, how do I stop/dodge it.

Also happens with, alot of, other characters.

Think you need to make them legitimized bastards before you give them land.

I've tried that with console add trait, and it doesnt work.

You have to do that before the dyn switches to the new. For example, if you wanna keep Orys Baratheon dynasty and his COA, you must change the Bastard trait for the Legitimized Bastard inmediately at the beginning of the game.

yes.. and then you give hammer or whatever a property and he's a rando. I'm not misunderstanding, I'm saying i've already tried that and the game thwarted it.

For me Orys always stays baratheon, you just wait and give him the Stormlands in the event that pops up after you conquer it that makes him marry the durrandal princess and gives him the durrandal stag as his CoA (shame cause his starting CoA Is dope) just Do Not take the "Legitimize Orys" decition Aegon gets, because that just makes him a Targaryen, and who wants a line of blackhaired Targaryens? (Plus you'd have to matri marry the durrandal chick to some random, or no stags in the Stormlands)

I'm dealing with it by getting them married, then killing them off before they can come into land or go adventuring and landing their kids. Hammer, White and Truefire dynasties now happily in their 4th generations.
