Ok, I have been playing EU2 for years now and I have never experienced this before but....

Playing Brandenburg, the computer has automatically accepted peace on my behalf (as Brandenburg, not an ally) twice in a row with two consecutive wars against Bohemia/Poland.

The first war I ws getting by butt kicked pretty heavily, and Brandenburg (me) automatically gave Magdeburg to Bohemia. No pop up nothing. My warscore was pretty poor (-57%) so I just assumed it was because of this. However, I've had worse warscores than thsi - I thought you just lost stab if you refused peace on favourable terms.

However, in a second war just five years later (trying to reclaim Magdeburg), with a warscore of about -17% (bad I know but the tide was turning, honest!), my Brandenburg again automatically accepted peace again ceding Danzig to Poland. This has now all but ruined my game.

What gives?

Playing AGCEEP 1.36 with 1.08 and 19thJune beta.

BTW, my stability was +3 both times.

BTW, I should mention that poland didn't even control Danzig at the time which means that they would have had to have had a warscore in the mid to high thirties to even be able to legitimately claim

sounds like you lost all core provinces and all provinces land-connected to your capital. Then any peace offered is accepted automatically.
Poland could probably demand Danzig because it was a core province, and the AI is very quick to start demanding provinces if it has positive warscore.

but it is indeed not AGCEEP related.

That would be it. I'd lost Brandenburg to the Poles, and even tho I controlled Podolia and Poznan, they managed to grab Danzig in automatic peace.

I checked, and the Poland would have needed 64% warscore to claim Danzig as a core.

Sucks a bit

Thanks for the replies tho.
