Army/unit symbols question

Hi all,

Just bought this game a few days ago and I have a question I was hoping someone could answer.

I know that not many people are playing this game but I will try to ask anyway.

When you select an army it displays a group of symbols in a box near the army icon. I understand what the soldier count symbols are but at the extreme right this is an icon that looks like a barrel with a stick in it. What does that symbol mean and what are it's effects?

Any help is appreciated.

this is the total weight of the army I guess.

Yep, that's the weight that is required to ahve the same ammount or higher on ships/fleets in order to transport an army
