I've only found time to play 3 of the tutorial missions so far and I love this game very much. I wonder though if impacts (missle vs ship, plane or other missile) are shown. I zoomed in on several objects in 3d mode when incoming missiles were about to hit them and I never saw the incoming missile. The unit would fire its flares or other defenses and either the unit would be undamaged or the unit would explode. I never saw the incoming missile and I wondered if it was just abstracted and not shown in the 3d window or if it was just going so fast I missed it.

There is a timing issue with the missile movement vs the explosion animation. Things move so darned fast it is hard to synchronize, but we're trying to improve on it so you get more of an impact view.
OK, Thanks. Good to know you're not just taking the easy way out and abstracting it. I like watching missile impacts. It's the player's reward for all that logistical planning and timing.
