I cannot advance in the campaign. At this point the game crashes continuously

Hey alcarrubba, so Planetfall isn't in active development anymore. I had a quick look at the Crash Report and it appear to be in the AI Threat manager. You might be able to work around it by going a couple of turns back and performing other actions to change up the AI behaviour.
