Patience has become my middle name by now, but having opened the game yesterday and spent a couple hours in it (unmodded), I am more than sure that the wait will be worth it!

Thanks again for getting back to this, it is truly the only way to play CK2! Let me know where and how I can donate or support if possible

I wouldn't count on seeing support for SWMH anytime soon, no. We will probably find ourselves unable to resist making changes to the vanilla map, yes. However, until we've implemented all the features again, we will probably use the current vanilla map.
