Hi players and Paradox,
Recently I went back to some playthroughs of my older Paradox collection which include "Crusader Kings Complete", "Victoria Complete" and some others.
In the past I was able to play them on my system without problems. (need to change resolutions in settings for some of them) and was on Windows 10 with AMD 16.*.* drivers.
But now for all the games based on the old engine my mouse is flickering constantly. I tried experimenting with mouse settings, post in the Steam forums, AMD forums, searched the web for solutions, but I don't see anything about flickering mouse cursors for those games. Also settings changed to compatibility mode (win 95/98/xp etc) don't make any difference.
The only solution I found till now is an external program called dxwnd. Without changing any of the default settings of this tiny program (just point the .exe to it) I can play the games without flickering mouse cursor.
Hope someone can look into this one day. As an older gamer I hate to see games getting incompatible with new systems and drivers so I hope for a solution. Thanks in advance.
