EUIV barely runs on Intel Arc A370M

I got a new laptop recently. It is the Lenovo Yoga 7i 16 inch. It has 32gb of ram and 12th gen i7-12700h with arc a370m gpu. For some, it is stuttering with the game a lot. This is odd cause my old laptop had a 1650ti that was heavily thermal throttled but performed better. I am running the game at 1920x1200 resolution to lower the gpu demand but I still have the stuttering with the game.

Is the issue the lack of driver support and optimization with the graphics card?

Did you actually run EU4 1.33.x on the old laptop with 1650ti, or it was an older version?

If yes, could you try running EU4 on integrated GPU of your i7-12700h?

I ran EU4 1.33 with the old laptop.

I tried running it with the integrated graphics and it was noticeably slower.

According to info that I've found, Resizable BAR is needed for optimal performance of GPU. Is it enabled on your system?

I have no idea how to enable or check that on a laptop. I know it's possible on a desktop.

I updated all my drivers to the latest one, still no change. Lots of stuttering and latency problems.

Out of curiosity, is it possible to buy now outside of China? I haven't found any info. It's quite likely that Paradox developers also don't have this hardware yet.

Make sure you have latest firmware/"BIOS" updates as well

I updated the bios and manually installed the newest drivers. I've noticed slightly better smoother gameplay but there was clearly stuttering.

That looks like a driver problem

So it could well be the video driver problem you mentioned.
