Howdy Friday builders, you probably noticed a little patch rolling out! Here follows the patch-notes:
  • Fixed: Unique buildings don't give land value.
  • Fixed: ChirpX event cancellation bug.
  • Fixed: ChirpX Unlocking.
  • Fixed: ChirpX rocket and launch site snow coverage issues.

Yep, this is why I don't like the game always get updated with a new patch, because it might only cause bugs and issues on features that is working 100% fine, but there's nothing I can do as the game has an auto-update feature that cannot be disabled.

Why not make the updates optional? such as when the user wants to update the game, not force users to get updates on features that didn't want by people.

(Honestly in my opinion, the ChirpX launch site is just a waste of game's size on the local disk, if it was a major DLC such as Unnatural Disasters or Events I would update the game and buy them)

Updates are sent down by Steam, not Colossal Order, they get no say in this. The only way to stop it is play with Steam in offline mode, which has its own issues.

I like to play in "Steam OffLine Mode" because I notice that the game plays a little better/faster on my "slow" system.
But I didn't know there were drawbacks to doing this.
What exactly do you mean that playing "in Steam OffLine Mode has its own issues?"
