Are volunteer leaders supposed gain XP? Because in the latest Beta Rommel is gaining no XP in Spain. The units are gaining XP though.
Rommel is not sick. He only has three divisions though. He got no terrain or 'regular' XP the whole war.In my game as Italy I have three units fighting in Spain and Giovanni Messe is very slowly gaining. Is Rommel sick? Few units and high level really slows it down.
If it’s not gaining it could be a big maybe?

Shoot, no xp nuts. I started a new game on today’s build and I have been getting xp on my generals volunteering in Spain no problem. My level 4 guy is leveling up really slow though. What level is Rommel anyway? I thought they leveled German generals down so they could level up from all the experience they can gain. I presume generals can reach a max level but SCW is basically the beginning of the game. Crazy.
Lol, well my level4 general picked up maybe 12% so far, maybe three months of combat, my level 1 field martial has like 3%. Field martials level up soooo slow. Game is already shut down for the night so I am guessing numbers from memory. I can’t fix anything but I wanted to let you know I saw some progress on an a8e9 build. Hope it helps.He's level 4. That would save me much time in trying to find the case where it happens.@podcat Hi, there is a kinda of "not a bug" bug with supplies since 1.5. With new general and marshal stats you are able to make more than -100% supply consumption and if you do so, you'll get yourself into troubles. Most divisions will get out of supply and attrition debuffs. Is it possible to make a minimal cap for supplies consumption? It requires some efforts with vanilla and you'll need to enable maximum Strengthen buff to get -50% supply consumption from it. But when you use mods that's much easier to run into that "bug".

BEF was figthing in Belgium. Was it not cut off by the Germans it would have continued to fight in France. Not to mention it technically also fought in France, the very northern part of it.I have 10-15 tries on Historical Germany. (I like historical stuff). And in every single one I am fighting UK and France forces in Poland and in Belgium and France. This is with historical focuses on. In reality UK and France didn't help out Poland in ww2. Neither did they in 1940 in France as far as I know.
It breaks immersion for me.
