Hi,
I am currently in run playing as the monarchs of Frisia. Multiple times, I have pressed the claim (on Duchy or Kingdom) of my spouse. Each time, if my character is a king, I am in a non-matrilineal marriage, and if I am a queen I am in a matrilineal marriage. Regardless, each time, any under-16 children who are in my court transfer to the court of my spouse. This is not what I think is supposed to happen, and is not what has happened in numerous runs. Unfortunately, this then means I have no control over who my children (including my heir) marry and little control over their education (I am still able to educate them myself). Does anyone know why this is happening?
The screenshots below show an instance of this happening which just happened, as I (king of Frisia) pressed claim of wife on kingdom of Sardinia-Corsica. I won, she became queen of said realm, and my 4 children (ages 12, 8, 3, 0) switched from living in my court in Holland to my wife's court in Sardinia.
