The save is only there because it was needed, I can't even acces the game atm

same here. on the loading screen it goes black and reverts back to steam. (did a reinstall....didnt help)

This exactly, no idea what to do now..

Same issue. I went through the update on Steam and the game crashes after the loading screens. I uninstalled and reinstalled but still the same issue.

Also getting this on the gamepass version, tried using a few mods last night. Managed to run the game once today but mods didn't load, then the UI disappeared and haven't been able to open the game since. Uninstalled/Reinstalled deleted app data etc. Gets past the initial loading screen (data sync I think?) then tries to open the game window and crashes.

I removed ''BepInEx'' folder in ''Steamapps/common/Cities Skylines II
And then booted the .exe in the same folder

- Edit: I now launched it from Steam again, seems to work.
So it probably was the BepInEx which caused it

Sadly this doesn't seem to be it in for me on gamepass Don't have that folder!
