He played a game for Scotland. I decided to focus on colonizing the New World. The unexpected happened during the game. He moved the capital from Edinburgh to the Bahamas. And then it turned out that if I have already formed a colonial autonomy, then it remains so (for example, Canada), but if I continue to colonize provinces in the Canadian region on my own, then they remain Scotland. If colonial autonomy has not been formed on the East Coast, then the entire region becomes Scotland.
Is this a bug or just such a tricky cheat mechanic?
 
And that's all normal. The ones you already had before moving your capital to the New World remain, but no new ones will form as long as you have your capital there. If you move it back to Europe, then all of your New World territory will transform into colonies one day later.
