Vile Blood of the Butcher working?

Got one of the Murder Bloodlines and it says I can personally pursue murder plots, but I have no idea what that means. There's nothing when I right-click other characters portraits, nothing in the intrigue menu, nothing in the plot dropbar.

Am I doing something wrong?

You'll sometimes get an event to kill the target yourself. Which I guess can't fail? It's random anyway, no need to do anything besides plotting to kill someone normally.

It can fail. You can be spotted in the attempt and abort, without the target getting attempted murder opinion, I think. You might get your target but have witnesses. Or you kill them and get away blameless. There might be other outcomes.

It is a nice fallback if you cannot get backers against a target such as in infidel court, or believe they'd just blab about it when 'drunk'.

It can happen really quickly or take forever.
