Hi I found a disk copy of victoria 2 lying around . I wonder if it works with vine
I have a macbook air

Yes it works. Search for Vicotoria II Wine on Google and you'll find instructions on how to install Vicotoria II via Wine on Mac on the Winehq website.

I also have V2 on my mac and I tried to find the wineskin but with no luck do any other mac users know?

I am not sure about mac, but on Linux it works without doing anything special (simple "wine v2game" works). I imagine it should work on mac too with sufficiently recent version of wine (my version is 1.7, but I was running it with older versions in the past, probably as old as wine-1.4)
