Spreading vehicles over one line

Is there a practical way for spreading vehicles over one line? Because the only way I know in CIM is doing it manually which is nearly impossible to do efficiently. And over a time your vehicles are screwed again because of bad traffic/broken vehicles/ ...

That is the biggest problem of CIM 1, solved in CiM 2 with depots.

THe only way you won't have this problem is with monorails, metros and helicopters. Boats also manage to bottleneck somewhere somehow.

To my knowledge there is no way to solve the cadency problem in CiM (I don't think there is any mod to solve it either). One of the biggest impairment of the game.
