Question to Engineers

I'm building an aluminum can crusher in SolidWorks, and I'm trying to join two pieces of metal so they can rotate freely around each other but are constrained laterally.



What kind of fastener would you use for this? My friend said bearings, but I don't know anything about those. Any help/advice would be very appreciated.

But would that allow free radial movement? I guess it would if you didn't tighten the bolt all the way, but wouldn't it slip off eventually then?

Not if you weld the nut to the bolt

Well, where would you prefer to have this thread then?

Also, a clevis pin and a washer or two would be the simplest solution.
