Plans for BattleTech 2 or an Expansion

Hello,

I have been playing the current version of BattleTech for awhile and I would like to know if there are any plans for a next version or an expansion on the current version? Thanks.

Hi

There are no plans for expanding the current version. Development is considered finished, and only bugs that prevent the game from running/saving at all will be fixed going forward.

As for a sequel, I believe the answer to that is something along the lines of "we are working on other projects, and have no plans at this time".

The biggest problem with a sequel is that neither Paradox nor HBS own the license. They would first need to talk to Microsoft for that.

HBS is currently working on two new projects, but neither is Battletech related.

Go to Nexus and grab either the Battletech Extended 3025 Commanders Edition or Battletech Advanced 3062 mods. Both have clan mechs and tech in them.

Actually, you should try both and see which you like better.
