I did too. Didn't investigate enough before. That was my fault. 58 minutes game time, then never touched again. I was so eager to finally lay my hands on a naval simulation again, some successor of Janes Fleet Command...:(
Thank god Command: Modern Air/Naval Operations is out now...

Out of interest, how does Command: Modern Air/Naval Operations compare with NWAC?

There is no multi-iplayer capability. but there is a save function. :)
Scenarios can be written, but there is no database editing, so no mods are possible. (Even NWAC allows for mods.)

The interface is awkward to use. The game is a chore to play. If you don't mind incessant micro-management, then you may find it acceptable.
