Hi, how many infantry(regular) units do you build for Germany before you start up with opperation barbarossa?

First of all, use the search function. I can think of at least a dozen times ive written pretty substantial guides for germany vs soviets, and probably 50 more counting the rest of the forumites.
Second, as a rule of thumb, i keep a minimum of 9, hopefully 12 per province bordering the soviets, to pin the enemy in place and let the panzers and motorized do their thing.

I playing DH-full I have ca 170-80 german regulars. In AOD I have been using some of the same amounts. Becuse of the mobilstaion decision in darkest hour I can build more infantry.
