Hi, this is my first post in this forums but I've been lurking for quite a long time. Of all the paradox games Vicky is my favourite, and to enhance my games I've been making some new leader portraits (for the nations I've been playing the most), they could be grouped into three categories:

-Replacements for the ones already existing in the game, wich I dislike for one reason or another

-For leaders already in the game (vanilla version) who lack a portrait

-New leaders (I like playing with lots of them)

I've been drawing them for several months, and some time ago I posted some of them in the VIP forum (I used another nickname there), but now I'd like to share them with the rest of the gamer community.

Enjoy them! ;)

Following Prinz Wilhelm's useful advice, to make this thread easier to search, I'll be including here links to all my posts with leaderpics in them:

Yes, I've made made them myself. I usually work over B&W images and then apply colour onto them and manipulate lights and shadows to enhance them.
But if I can find good colour images, I use them directly, just modifying parametres like saturation, brightness, etc (for example, the portraits for hugh gough and wolseley have been made in this way).
It's not really hard to do them, just a little time-consuming (wich I unfortunately can't afford to spare very much), and after a while it can become tedious. In fact, the hardest part about it is to find really good images with wich to work with (thank God for wikipedia and google image search).
I'm glad you've liked them. :p
