Has anyone tried the mod in MP? If so, how does it play out?

People use house rules / level of historical business or they go free-for-all style?

Or it's just a single player experience?

Yes. I played Iron Cross arma in mp (Himly is a veteran player in mp)

We played with historical events to 1939 (usa 1941).

Iron cross setup configuration (checked):
- Deactivate abandon doctrine
- Tech teams gain skill
- AI can accept separate peace
- Can ban a member from the alliance
- Deactivate intelligence panel
- Only the host can pause
- Increase AI amphibious assaults
- Installation strike damage forts
- Increase radar detection
- Increase detection in air superiority
- Port blocked don't receive convoys
- Units in enemy front can't do strategic redeployment
- Amph assault or sea transport land units lose organization
- Build in province : anti air, radar, naval base, air base
- Everything you build costs money
- Infra affect time production
- Upgrade purchased units
- Regainr building uses ic reinforcement
- Build in allied provinces
- Don't show enemy movement
- Stockpile resource limited
- Port size limits the supply capacity
- Activate shipyards capacity
