I am currently playing as the United States and am ranked as a great power, third behind Great Britain and Germany. I have seen when I hover my mouse over my Industry and Military scores (Great Power screen) a tooltip comes up offering information on this score. The military tooltip is confusing. It says I have 602.851 capital ships, 125.0 leaders, but my Soldiers and Army score is 1.436. What does this mean? I currently have 199 brigades out of a possible 424. Thanks.

Unless it scales with time or something, that's horrendously low.
Either way, military score is based on supply consumption...for some reason. So if your government is pacifist, you'll have a much smaller score compared to a jingoist. Same deal if you're behind on army techs.
And if your raised brigades are all irregulars and cavalry, that's probably the reason it's so low.

Are you playing on easier difficulty perhaps? Playing on very easy gives you -50% supply consumption which keeps your military score low no matter what.

I am playing on Easy. Or was. I finished the game. My score did go up but I don't remember how high. I started building a lot of tank heavy divisions. Maybe I had too much infantry?

Even if all 199 brigades were infantry your score shouldn't be that low.I blame easy difficulty combined with some pacifist war policy of your party. What is your party's war policy anyway?
