I have a nice big German soundtrack I made up, but its a bit big (and *ahem* questionable in its content), about 50+ megs. For a government that stayed in power for less than 2 decades, they made alot of marches and other music. I mean they probably a the song for the hitler youth junior swim team.

I dont know whats wrong with the ingeb.org but now it tells you to put in this password they give you to download a song but after you click download windows media player comes up with an unknown error labeled simply "security". Wha?

John Williams "1941" March.

Be careful that the songs you're talking about aren't copyrighted, otherwise, that could be construed as piracy talk

UGH! Another addition to the "Forum Rules"? I guess that is a gooddpoint though...record companies seem to like to sue 12 year old kids nowadays..........
It was always in the rules

For the real WWII "feel", here's an interesting site with lots of sounds and pics. There's Lord Haw Haw, Tokyo Rose, Patton doing a speech after the capture of Messina, some dramatic radio-broadcasts, some notable speeches and lots of other sound files. No music though. Some MP3-files but most are .wav-files. Can they be converted for use in the HOI music directory?

Hey guys - I'm trying to find a copy of the Mexican/Spanish March DEGÜELLO. All I have been able to find on Google is the ZZ Top song of the same name. If anyone could help me out, I'd appreciate it.

My opening song is Cabaret's "Tomorrow belongs to me".

I also have "Kwai river march", "Die fahne hoch", "It's a long way to Tipperary" etc. and offcoars Deutschlandslied sung by SS trupes :D
Deutschland über alles actualy Deutschlandslied, meaning song of Germany, was composed by Joseph Haydn, and the melody was national anthem of Austrian empire till 1918. Name of the song was Kaiserslied (song to kaiser). Haydn was inspired by melody of "Zalosna zarucnica", song of Bürgenland Croats, whose culture he knew very well since his mother was croatian. Legend says that when he felt his last minutes, he went to piano to play this melody, he was a true royalist. Lyrics of Deutschlandslied were written in 1840es on island of Helgoland, but it became official anthem in 1930es.

Links are great, thanks

Where can I go to get German Marches music tracks?

Ive seen threads here about German music downloads, but I don't see any links. Where can I go to find the links?

Ok my fellow HOI community members. As I promised a couple weeks ago, I have started placing old military songs up on my website. I can verify the quality of the files as I re-master them myself. I currently have 15-20 songs available on the site. I will continue to add more each week as I "fix" them up. I have about 120 songs still in my "to-do" queue. :)

Click on the large link on my main page www.gridcogames.com and head to the music section. Continue to check back if you like the files because I WILL continue to add more regularly. I'd appreciate feedback if you listen to the files. Tell me if you hate, liked or used them. The feedback keeps me from thinking I'm wasting my time. :)

The songs are and will continue to be mostly from World War II, however there will be some from many other eras.

Is it live or was it re-mastered by Bluestew?
