I had come across the first website but not the second. This is an excellent map showing Bubastis where it was supposed to have connected and all of the mouths of the Nile:

Its interesting to see how close Memphis is to the junction of all the branches, nothing like on the vanilla map. I might have to do an adjustment to make it look a bit more like this.
