Low FPS when playing multiplayer?

I posted this in the bug forum but got no replies. I thought I would try here to see if anyone else had this probem. I'm getting low FPS when playing online. My computer is more than capable of handling V2. The host doesn't have any slowdown. It's just me. It seems to be stuck on 20 fps. Singleplayer is fine. No lag at all. Any help?

It's like this with some of the Clausewitz games. You're right it doesn't have anything to do with how powerful your machine is. Guess it's just something to do with latency (although it sometimes happens in LAN too).
