So I've no idea if this is a bug or if there are certain qualifications that should be met before the option to crown yourself fires but every time I do a coronation as an Emperor (Britannia) with the Pope to crown me I never get the option to take the crown and don it myself. My last Emperor to do it had pride and ambition that I though might get it to go but no, everything went ahead as normal.
