Hello,

We can all kinda admit that if your ruler dies young and you play as a child, the game gets kinda boring due to its lack of events. Of course there are some rare events that "spice the game up". I was wondering if there is something you can do to increase the chances of these events to happen?

Thanks

FWIW, I don't necessarily find it boring to play through a regency, so I've got to question the whole premise of your question right off the bat.

I think he means that you have really few events related to your education or your life as a child when you play a child, when there are quite a few when you educate a child. It can even happen that you have no event related to it.
Can be pretty boring. Regency as a child should be a little more entertaining than regency as a 80 years old incapable ruler. Ok you're not ruling, but you're learning for the rest of your life.

Well, I suppose it depends on playstyle and which DLCs you have. I just appoint a Court Tutor, so the only time I normally see the childhood education events is when I'm playing as a minor in a regency.

..

Certain traits and many other children in your court should make it more interesting.
Of course the traits of your tutor and regent will also matter.
DLCs might make a big difference, but i'm not currently knowledgeable on these type of events.

They locked away a lot of child hood events. the post above probaly unlocked those events back.

In their quest for performance and they scripted tons of performance eating effects and triggers.
At the cost of graphics of portraits and events... while coding gets more fancy doesn't mean it is better performance.

One can't help admire CK3 graphics. but one can cry about the gameplay in CK3 when the AI battle is still like wack a mole.
Shattered Retreat is still in ... and probaly also epidemics to cull the courtiers court. one wonder how come late game CK3 has performance issues.
