Installation guide for Imperator: Invictus:
This forum thread will be used to assist anyone with installing the mod, just reply to thread and @Snowlet if you're having issues.
Now onto the actual guide, there are 2 main ways to install the mod.
You can only ever use 1 version at the same time!
1. You own the game on Steam and seek to use the latest version.
Subscribe to the mod on the Steamworkshop: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2532715348.
The mod will download and automatically update for you, just add the mod to your active playset, enable it and you're done.
2. You own the game on any other platform or want to use an older version to continue your old saves.
(If you already have the Steamworkshop version, unsubscribe from the workshop version first, otherwise this will not work.)
You can download the mod from our Nexusmods page: https://www.nexusmods.com/imperatorrome/mods/1?tab=files.
The Main Files section will always contain the latest version, the Optional Files section will contain the previous version of the mod you can use to continue old saves.
Once you've downloaded the mod, you need to extract the files.
Extract the zip directly in your 'Documents\Paradox Interactive\Imperator\mod' folder.
You should see an invictus.mod file now and an invictus folder. Make sure you don't accidentally extract it into a subfolder, the invictus.mod file should be directly in the 'Imperator\mod' folder.
Now next time when you open the launcher, the mod should show up and you can add it to a playset like normal.
