I subscribed to the expansion pack on Steam, but the launcher is not running

I subscribed to and downloaded the Crusader Kings 2 expansion pack from Steam, but I can't play the game because the launcher didn't run. But other Paradox games work well. What should I do?

I am a Korean user, so the translation of the translator may not be perfect.

First, I suggest you "Verify integrity of game files" on Steam. (Right-click on CK2, "Properties", "Local Files", "Verify integrity of game files". I put the exact English label in quotes, in the hope that the automatic translation will be useful...)

If that doesn't solve your problem, try asking your question in the Tech Support forum. (That's the best way to get help from Paradox directly.)

CK2 is the newest game that uses the old Paradox launcher. (EU4, Stellaris, Imperator, etc all use a new launcher.) So, the fact that other Paradox games work might not be particularly useful. It's possible that something in your setup works well with the new launcher, but breaks for the old launcher.
