Hello here is a quote from another user discussing a likely solution for your problem in a unrelated thread.

If this is your issue, the following should work:

1. Open the subforum you require.
2. At the bottom of the thread list, in the middle, there is a button "Thread Display Options"
3. If you click it, a new line will open immediately above it, settings will (among other things) read: "Threads with last post from: Forever"
4. Just click "Set Options" and the hidden threads should become visible.

This has always cleared up that pesky bug for not seeing very old forum threads.
