Always ignored them when they were just a score thing but now they negatively influence your estates? How do I get rid of victory cards in a campaign already started?

Hard to play Russia and mess with your estates when you suffer a -10% estate loyalty penalty because of victory cards

Aren't they a multiplayer thing? Save editing maybe?
Yes they are, but I am playing in an MP game.

Tried save editing. I set the Victory card value to 0 but they still appear in the game so I am guessing it will prevent more from spawning but I wasn't sure if you could remove them entirely from the save.

I have no experience with it whatsoever, I just suggested it because I know save editing is commonplace for minor stuff in MP games (though I don't know whether victory cards count as such). You could try making a backup, deleting the relevant part from the save altogether and see if it's still playable.
