Hello all. After getting my mods list good I've been re-building my long list of custom empires for the game to pick from. I've run into something that I can't figure out and was hoping the collective minds can help out. The Forward Earth - Vanilla mod seems to be disabling either just the Rift World origin, Astral Rifts and anything associated with them or Astral Planes as a whole. The DLC still shows checked off on the side of the screen and the species portrait that was added with it is still available but the origin itself isn't. I noticed the issue when I was rebuilding the list and got to one of the empire that used the origin, it was greyed out because of the missing origin. I ran a test game with just Forward Earth (Vanilla and Base) active and went into observation mode and couldn't find rifts in the game either, which is why I'm thinking it could be that it's blocking the DLC.

Now, for what makes it puzzling to me and has me stumped is when I went into the mods files to see if I could find the problem and see if I could jury rig it until the author gets it fixed. Origins are in the "common/governments/civics" folder so that's the first place I went in the mods files. Except there is no "civics" sub-folder to be found in governments. The only thing there is a single file (mod unique, not an over-right one) with a couple of new government types. So the mod does not touch origins at all, not sure what else I could look to find the block. Anyone have any thoughts on the matter? What else could be blocking things?

20 minutes later and got it. The problem was that the author over-wrote the 00_scripted_triggers file but when he last updated he didn't account for the Astral Planes DLC. I've fixed the mod on my and I am about to drop a note in the mods comments to let him know where the problem is to fix it.
